Five children were killed and a fourth person injured in a shooting at a beach resort in Florida.
Authorities have said two of the children were children of the victims and the third was a woman who had been visiting relatives in Florida for a month.
“This is very tragic,” said Michael Guglielmi, who lives in Villa Rica, near the beach.
“The kids were a little bit young.
I don’t think they’d be able to walk home.
I have no idea where they were.
Villa Rica is a beach community about 60 miles north of Miami.”
They were all walking home, but we can’t imagine how they were going to get home.”

The shooting happened on the shore of the lake near the Villa Rica Beach Resort.
The victims, ages 2 and 4, were identified as a woman and her 5-year-old son.
Authorities said the victims were among several people shot and killed in the resort, which is located about 15 miles from Miami.
Authorities did not say whether anyone else was wounded.
Police were searching for witnesses, but said they did not believe the shooting was related to the shooting at the Villa Rico Resort.
