A new report by Taco Villa says pizza is the number one topping of its menu, but the restaurant has been a family-run operation since 1946.
In a story on the blog, the franchisee points out that its pizza is “all-natural” and made with ingredients sourced locally.
The menu includes three main types of pizza: the classic, a spicy and savory option, and the smoked, grilled, and bolognese versions.
The latter includes a vegan version.
In an interview with The Atlantic, Taco Villa CEO Andrew Zadrozny said the chain’s popularity has grown exponentially since its inception.
In the past year alone, the restaurant’s sales have jumped by 20%, Zadroskiy said.
“We’re seeing a huge jump in customers,” he said.
According to Taco Villa, it is the only pizza restaurant in the country that uses 100% natural ingredients.
The franchisee said that its pizzas are made with no preservatives, sodium, or gluten.
Zadroczny says the company uses 100 percent organic ingredients and the company has been in business for 50 years.
While there are a few places in the US that serve pizza made with natural ingredients, Taco Village’s pizza has long been the company’s number one selling item, Zadrocky said, noting that the chain is expanding to other states.
The restaurant was established in 1946 by brothers Jim and James Zadrazz, and has since grown to include restaurants in Florida, New York, Tennessee, and Virginia.
“Taco Villa Pizza is truly one of the most important food brands in the world,” Zadronys said.
Zalubowski and Zadrzny recently sold their pizza business, Pizza Express, and have since expanded the franchise to serve other brands, including Taco Pizza, Taco Burger, and Taco Pie.
“There’s a lot of new restaurants opening, and we’ve got a lot more restaurants to come,” Zaluzny said.
Taco Villa has more than 60 locations around the country, and serves more than 100 million customers each year.
