The latest iteration of the iconic pizza parlor is now on the verge of opening in New York.
The “New York Pizza” is coming to the West Village in 2018, and it’s the brainchild of one man named Adam D. Katz.
It’s a project that has already garnered a few accolades, including a 2017 award from The New York Times.
While the concept of “New york pizza” is new to the pizza scene, Katz has been tinkering with pizza since he was a teenager.
He first tried making his own crusts at age 14, and in 2012 he started working at the restaurant where he now works, in New Orleans, when he was 23.
Katz opened his first New York Pizza, in 2013, in a space where he and his brother-in-law had just moved.
Katz’s father-in toil, along with the family’s modest lifestyle, helped Katz get started.
“I wanted to be a dad, and I wanted to have my own business,” Katz said.
“It’s very difficult to have a career as a father when you’re working as a pizza delivery driver and you’re making pizzas.”
The restaurant was the start of Katz’s career as an entrepreneur.
After graduating from NYU with a business degree in 2010, Katz started working in real estate for a local real estate company.
Katz would eventually get a job with a private real estate firm and eventually started his own business, Katz and Associates, as well.
The business was later acquired by Katz and Partners, which would go on to become the biggest real estate developer in the world.
Katz had no idea that a pizza place would be so popular.
“When I opened the first New york pizzeria, I didn’t know there were so many places to go,” Katz told Business Insider.
“My first reaction was I didn’ know there would be pizza parlors like this, and people would come out and get a pie.”
In 2012, Katz was awarded the prestigious New York Magazine’s Entrepreneur of the Year award, and he had the idea to open his first “Newyork Pizza” on the West Side of Manhattan.
Katz and his wife, Lisa, decided to open their first Newyork pizza place at the end of their childhood.
Katz says he was in his early 20s when he first started making his first dough.
The idea of making pizza at home and serving it to friends was something he had always dreamed of.
“We had a whole bunch of pizzas in the house that were all different kinds of pizza,” Katz explained.
“And the pizza I’d make was all of them.”
In fact, Katz says, he’d make his own pies and make them in the basement of his New York apartment.
Katz began to take pizza delivery in 2012, but when his business partner told him about the New York City Pizza and Diner, he was so impressed by Katz’s creation that he opened his own restaurant in the same building in 2014.
Katz worked with the business partners and the owners of the Newyorndood neighborhood to make sure the restaurant was as authentic as possible, but Katz also worked with Katz, his brother and his girlfriend, Lisa.
“He was just the brains behind it,” Katz added.
Katz was so passionate about his business and the project that he was willing to spend nearly $10,000 to rent out his Manhattan apartment, the same apartment he now rents out to his staff.
He even went so far as to get the city to pay for a portion of the space in order to preserve the New Yorker’s original aesthetic.
“To me, it’s like the first time I ever bought a pizza,” he said.
Katz estimates that he took in more than $100,000 in total in his first year.
“People don’t even realize it,” he added.
While Katz’s New York pizzas are all handmade, the interior design and interior decorating are all from scratch.
Katz even has his own personal chef, who was hired to help with the decorating, and Katz also has a pizza maker, who would be used for the toppings.
Katz has also had the opportunity to work with a lot of famous artists.
One of Katz s personal favorites is artist Frank Stella, who has worked for a variety of famous names, including the rapper and actor, Kanye West.
Stella, along the way, also got a few requests from Katz to collaborate on his own art pieces.
Katz got his first taste of working with the likes of James Blake, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry when he collaborated with the artists to make their own “Gaga” collages.
Katz is also a fan of artists like the rapper, who had a chance to make his first art piece for Katz at his pizza restaurant.
Katz said he’s even seen Katy Perry create her own art piece, complete with the singer’s signature mustache.
“She was able to create something that was not something I’ve ever
