The Jaguars were one of the worst teams in the NFL last year.
That may be why they’ve avoided the injuries that cost them so many games.
Here’s a look at some of the most notable injuries the Jaguars sustained last year: 1.
Marqise Lee, DE: A hamstring injury forced Lee to miss the final three games of the season.
That could have been a career-ending injury for the Jaguars.
However, the team still signed Lee as a free agent and he was placed on injured reserve.
The Jaguars signed former Denver Broncos defensive tackle Mario Williams as a replacement for Lee.
The team also signed former Chicago Bears running back Mikel Leshoure as a backup to Lee.
Lee’s absence was a big reason why the Jaguars were 4-10, and they were also forced to rely on a backup quarterback, Case Keenum, who was injured for much of the year.
This is a team that should be able to keep winning when they can win games, and this injury will likely keep them from being able to do that.
2.
Rashad Jennings, WR: The Jaguars had an outstanding season last year with Jennings as their star receiver.
Jennings had just a 4.4 yards per catch average and his career-high eight touchdown receptions.
Unfortunately, the Jaguars did not have a lot of time to rest Jennings.
In the middle of the playoffs, the Jags were eliminated by the Green Bay Packers, who lost to the Arizona Cardinals in the Super Bowl.
The Jags did not make the playoffs in 2017, and the team is now 0-8 with Jennings on the roster.

3.
Matt Forte, RB: The Jacksonville Jaguars had the NFL’s No. 1 rushing offense last season, averaging over 3.8 yards per carry.
However.
the Jaguars struggled in 2017.
They struggled to stop the run in games, as they struggled to make a big play in the passing game, averaging just 4.1 yards per attempt.
The last two weeks have been pretty disappointing for the Jacksonville Jaguars, as the team has lost two straight games.
They will be hoping for a turnaround after this injury.
4.
Charles Clay, CB: The Kansas City Chiefs had a very talented secondary last season.
The Kansas, however, had one of their worst pass defenses.
The Chiefs struggled to consistently force turnovers and had a turnover rate of 24.9 percent.
The defense also struggled to generate pressure, which was a major reason why they had a terrible season.
In 2017, the Chiefs signed free agent free agent cornerback Charles Clay to a four-year, $42 million deal.
The Jets traded cornerback Buster Skrine to the Bills last offseason.
Clay has struggled to find his rhythm and has struggled with interceptions, but he should still be a valuable contributor in Jacksonville.
5.
Jeremy Maclin, WR/KR: Maclin is coming off an injury that caused him to miss three games.
Maclin will be back for the 2018 season, but the Jaguars are going to need to be cautious with their No. 2 wideout.
Maclen has a history of injuries and missed all of the 2017 season.
Macli had a torn ACL, torn MCL and MCL ligaments, and torn ligaments in his right knee.
Macllin missed all but three games last season and did not play in one game in 2018.
The injury to Maclin was not the first to leave the Jaguars’ offense vulnerable.
The problem for the team in 2017 was that they were playing without their best player, tight end Marcedes Lewis.
Lewis played in only two games last year and had an injury-related injury.
Macls return could give the Jaguars a big boost to their offense.
6.
Jaelen Strong, RB/WR: The Buffalo Bills gave Jaelens Strong a big contract, but it did not help the Jaguars much in 2017 with the Bills having to play with four different running backs and three different receivers.
The Bills struggled to protect Strong, as he averaged less than 4.8 rushing yards per game and averaged just 5.7 receiving yards per reception.
In 2018, the Bills traded wide receiver Sammy Watkins to the Carolina Panthers.
Strong is a veteran with more than three seasons of NFL experience, but has yet to break out as a fantasy asset.
The 2017 season could be the last season for Strong, who could be an elite option for your dynasty team.
7.
Tamba Hali, LB: The Los Angeles Rams had a great year last season with the help of their linebackers.
The Rams had three of the top five tacklers in the league, including Hali who had nine tackles for loss.
However the Rams struggled to slow down opposing quarterbacks, allowing them to score a league-high 38 touchdowns.
The L.A. Rams also had a career worst defense, allowing more than 100 points in
