Updated February 13, 2018 05:07:55 Italy has a great number of villas, including villas that are hidden away, and some are actually quite lavish.
There are also some that are actually very spacious, and have excellent amenities like balconies, pools and even tennis courts.
Some of these have been designed to be a home for your kids.
But the real estate agents that you may have heard of, like ApartmentGuru, say that you will only be able buy one of these villas in Italy if you are a resident of Italy for more than six months.
And what are these six months?
Well, the rules say you can only buy a house in Italy for six months and that the value of your purchase must be at least 3 times your annual income.
So you might think, I don’t really have to buy any villas now, but what if I need to?
Well you will have to spend some money if you want to live in Italy longer than six month period.
So what you will want to do is to have the necessary paperwork for this purchase.
You should have your residence certificate from your Italian government (which is required for all foreign purchases in Italy)and you will need to provide proof of income from your employer.
Then you will probably need to register your property with the local government and you will then need to pay the tax.
So if you have an existing property and want to buy one in Italy, this is the best time to do so.
But if you just want to have a villas for a short period, then it’s probably a better idea to wait a bit longer.
