The Wal-mart, the world’s largest retailer, is set to open a villa and spa in Miami-Puerto Rico in 2018.
The planned $150 million facility, located in Villa Estrella, would include four villas and a spa, as well as a community center.
The complex is the largest of its kind in the United States, according to the company.
Wal-Mart has had a presence in the island for more than a century, and the company is investing in its future.
The company will invest in new development and to expand its retail and service operations in the area, said CEO Doug McMillon.
Walmart plans to hire 500 people to build the villa, and to hire 2,000 employees to work on the spa.
Walmarts newest store, the Wal-Marts Florida flagship, opened in 2017.
